The hourglass shape of this wand is great at grabbing all my lashes separating them and giving me the volume that my lashes lack. It's lightweight and build able. I only did 2 thin coats. But when I do full eyeshadow look 2 full coats looks like I have false lashes on. That's saying a lot since my lashes are very short and sparse. The ARGININE + PROVITAMIN B5 is a huge bonus. Not many mascaras have nourishing properties inside them. I received this for my honest review. Will keep buying Ilia mascaras!

I received ILIA Fullest Volume Mascara in Black from PINCHme in exchange for my honest review. The ILIA fullest volume mascara in black did a decent job with my lashes. I was hoping for more volume, but will definitely give it another 2 or 3 tries. I do like the design of the brush and feels like it grabs my lashes better. I do like that ILIA is a clean cosmetic company.

Ilia’s Fullest Volumizing Mascara is a solid pick if you’re looking for buildable volume with a clean formula. The deep black pigment gives my lashes a bold, lifted look without feeling heavy. It layers well without clumping, though I did notice slight smudging by the end of the day. The formula feels nourishing, thanks to arginine and shea butter, but I wish it held the curl a bit longer. Overall, it’s a nice everyday mascara if you prefer clean beauty, but not my top choice for all-day wear.

I love trying new makeup, especially mascara, so I was thrilled to get to try this product free courtesy of PINCHme. However, my opinions are always my own, and for this product, I definitely had mixed opinions.
Pros:
- No clumping, even with several coats
- Very natural look, suitable for "no-makeup" days when you want just a bit more definition
- Thick wand, similar to many of my favorite mascaras (and some very popular ones too)
- Layers well with other mascara (i.e. Fenty's Hella Thicc, which is my favorite for adding extra oomph)
Cons:
- Almost too natural, barely there kind of look
- Very minimal effect for volume and definition, even with several coats
- Wouldn't recommend for full glam looks
- Eyeliner is pretty much required for a full lash look
If you like you mascara to be as natural looking as possible, where people might not be able to tell you have mascara on, this might be perfect for you. However, I personally found it a bit lackluster on its own, and after several coats, I knew i was going to have to add another mascara on top to create the look I was going for. Luckily they paired well together, and still came off quite easy. For comparison, the 1st 3 pics are this mascara alone. The last pic (with bookshelf backdrop, keeps everything else the same, just has an added layer of Fenty's Hella Thicc mascara - my favorite finishing mascara and/or in some cases, mascara rescuer lol).
